Hidden Bay was developed by a partnership headed by Bellemead Development Corp., for 70 years one of the country's leading real estate developers and property managers. Bellemead is joint venture with The Fidelco Group and Westminster Homes, two of the larger residential developers in the Northeast.

Hidden Bay's clubhouse is slated to be on a par with the facilities at any of Aventura's poshest private clubs. While each residential tower will have its own pool, the clubhouse will feature an oversize heated pool with a tropically landscaped sun deck overlooking the bay and a 66-slip deep water marina. The clubhouse will also house card, club and game rooms, a coffee lounge, plus reading and billiard rooms. The developers of Hidden Bay are introducing a different marina concept. A selection of power, deep sea fishing and sailing vessels will be docked on site expressly for homeowner use. Owned by the association and included in the monthly maintenance, it's just one of the many advantages of Hidden Bay homeowners and it means residents can have all of the seafaring fun they want without any of the hassles of boat ownership. Another ownership privilege will be golfing practice areas. The grounds will feature practice fairways and greens for perfecting one's short game before heading out to one of the neighboring golf clubs where special golf memberships will be available to Hidden Bay homeowners for monthly maintenance fees.
